Lauren was born and raised in Derby KS. She grew up caring for her flock of chickens, ducks, and geese; she loved showing them every summer with the local 4-H at the county fair. Currently, she only has one cat, named Thomas, but she plans on establishing a new flock soon. Outside of work, you can typically find her out camping with her husband, baking, or studying for her classes. She is currently taking pre-requisite classes for the Veterinary Nursing Program at WSU Tech. From there, she plans on furthering her education with a biology degree from WSU and eventually, applying to Vet School. She enjoys working in Vet Med because every day is unique and there are so many opportunities to learn something new!
