Dr. Schroeder started in Veterinary Medicine as a Registered Veterinary Technician in 1980. She worked in mixed animal practices for 19 years. After being a stay-at-home mom for 5 years, she returned to veterinary school and received her DVM in 2005 from KSU. Dr. Schroeder owned and operated a mixed animal mobile practice for 12 years and did relief work all over the state of Kansas during that time. She then worked at the Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital of Wichita for 6 years. Dr Schroeder joined the HAH team in July 2021 as a part time associate. Dr. Schroeder and her husband, Mark, live in Council Grove. They have 2 grown children and enjoy all their rescued pets.
