Valerie was born and raised in Wichita. Her and her husband are pet parents to 1 dog named Miss Marvel. She had originally planned on going into a career as a medical assistant. After school, she decided to change her path and find a career to support her love of animals. She hopes to get her RVT degree someday and continue her work with small animals. She and her husband are very active in hot air ballooning when not at work! She also enjoys swimming, hiking, and reading.
